My heart was pounding. Everything he was saying was so sweet. His company was wonderful, and finding out there was other beings out there made me very hopeful. If Percy’s people didn’t take you, what other creatures were out there that could? And he was one of the sweetest people I’d ever met… 

Berry: Percy… I do… I do think I feel something for you too, but I have to find me brother. I can’t do that if I’m up here with you.

That wasn’t the first time he took me either.. as the days went on, everytime I went out to that telescope hoping maybe there were different alien species out there, Percy abducted me again. I didn’t mind. Like I said, I enjoyed talking to him, and talking about you. Everyday he would ask if I found you yet, showing concern. Finally, I decided to ask why he kept abducting me, when I knew he had to have gotten all the research he needed by now.

Percy: I will be honest with you Berry Pie.

Berry: laughs You can just call be Berry, Percy.

Percy: I have been studying more of your culture… I have learned about something called.. ‘Love at first sight.’

Berry: Hey… what do you mean unusual?

Percy: I have been helping my people study your kind for many… many centuries. But you are the first to behave like this. Unafraid, and hoping your brother was with us… it is unusual.

Berry: Well… if he’s not with you that means he… he could be..

I couldn’t bring myself to say it. I don’t want you to be gone Apple. You being with the aliens was my only hope. Now that I know you aren’t…

Percy was nice. he kept me the whole day, claiming he needed to study me further to find out more, as I was so different from those he had taken before. It was nothing like the movies. All we did was talk. He asked me a lot about you too, sensing it was a sensitive subject. But he was more curious than prying. I liked being able to talk about you again. Mama gets upset whenever I try…

Percy: Apple… my people keep records of everyone we take, but no Apple has ever been taken.

Berry: …Oh… I thought…

Percy: …

Percy: I have made you sad? I do not understand how you are sad by us not taking your brother?

Berry: He’s been gone for a long time… I was hoping when I finally found you, I’d find him too.

Berry: Wait… what are you…

???: Can you understand me now?

Berry: Yea, woh… what did you do?

???: I studied your physiology… enough to understand your language.

Berry: Oh.. that’s interesting. What is your name? I always knew you existed.

???: I.. in your language my name would be Percy. It sounds incorrect in your tongue. But, why are you not frightened? Most of your kind are when we take them.

Berry: Frightened? No, I’ve been looking for aliens for 7 years! I finally found you. Tell me please, my brother, his name is Apple, you guys must have taken him too right?
