These aren’t all the colors I use in my game. I only picked 26 of them for the Rainbowcy. But I did show her modeling all 36 of my colors you can see them HERE.

(Naturally I’m doing it as a rainbowcy because I’m weak and can’t stop myself xD. You obviously don’t have to play yours as such if your doing the challenge.)

And since this challenge is designed to make you play more things you don’t usually play. My founder is female! Which I know I don’t do often. I just enjoy playing boys more xD.

Gameplay Legacy Challenge!

As I posted HERE. I don’t play with a lot of the game content that came with the packs that often, so I really wanted to challenge myself to do so, by… well creating a challenge. I don’t think I’ll post this publicly, as it’s just a random and probably extremely messy challenge for my own game. But I’m going to write up some rules anyway.

Basic Goals

  • Decorate your homes with things that game with the packs of each generation. 
  • Try to focus on using any of the gameplay objects that came with the pack. Such as using the don’t wake the llama game for the Get Together generation. Or the blocks table from parenthood.
  • Just have fun with it. Challenge yourself in ways you haven’t before. And overall, play how you want. If you don’t like one of the goals listed bellow, skip it. This challenge is to challenge you to do things you haven’t done before, yes, but you also have an obligation to keep your gameplay fun, and to your liking. So feel free to break the rules as much as you want!

If I ever do release this, obviously you will need all the packs to do it. Though I suppose you could just skip the generations for any packs you don’t have?

If you do it I would love to see your game play! Maybe tag it as #ts4gplc or #gameplaylegacychallenge or something? I may not be the best at writing things like this, but I’m sure whatever you do with it will be amazing! And so much better than what I wrote down. Also feel free to change anything here or there to fit how you feel the gameplay should go about.

One last thing, if you have anything that would go better with any of the packs, anything that makes more sense than what I wrote, please let me know and I will change it to reflect what you’ve said, with all credit to you. I just wrote what I felt worked best for the themes.

Here it is, finished it and typed it all up. It’s not perfect, and like I said, I’m not a writer, but I think it’ll all work okay! Hopefully xD. Now it’s time for me to make a founder for this!

Entirely off-topic

But it just needs to be shared. I moved to Colorado with my dad because I had lived in the city for 29 years, and developed such severe anxiety it’s difficult for me to do anything. To explain a bit, today I went to the market to go thanksgiving shopping and there was so many people and it was so stressful I ended up having a panic attack. Here I live in the middle of nowhere, I still have to go into the city to go to the market, but where I live now it’s such a small town my anxiety levels have thankfully dropped. But where I’m going with this is, moving here has helped me see that there is kind people out there. After the troublesome day I had I came home and just wanted to relax. But we got a knock on the door, I was thinking the worst because back in the city no one ever came to your door unless it was like a cop or something. But no, it was a Neighbor. He handed me an 11 pound turkey and said “Here, from our family to yours, happy thanksgiving.” I honestly didn’t think people like that existed. That was one of the kindest things I’ve ever seen and I just need to post this here because honestly, the world needs more kindness.

I decided on another challenge I want to do. As I’m playing I realized there’s a lot of gameplay content I’ve either never used, or don’t use often. And I really want to challenge myself to do everything. So I’m going to do a legacy, a 26 generation legacy… oof. And each generation will revolve around the game packs content in the order they were released. So Gen 1 will be Outdoor Retreat, Gen 2 will be Get To Work. And yes, I know some of the packs, the stuff packs mostly, don’t have a lot of gameplay content, so I’ll be going based on their theme rather than content. Like say… Romantic Garden. That generation will just have romantic sims, and the focus will be dating and finding love. I don’t know why I thought of this, but I did. So I’m going to type up some rules for myself and then make a founder, and I’ll see how it goes! :3.

So far two people seem interested so I’ll post the rules when I’m done. Though I can’t promise they’ll sound good, lol I’m not a writer. Just a warning.

Omg I would love it if you posted the rules too. I love new challenges and I’m the same bc I mostly play the same way with every family and I’ve been trying to branch out a lot so I’d love to see a new challenge that targets that 🙂
