A few weeks later, a friend of mine, Artemisia threw me a baby shower. It was such a nice thing to do. But the real amazing thing was what happened later on during the party. But… I guess you know that by now huh Apple?

By my second trimester, things were going great. I was feeling fair less nauseous, and Percy insisted I do absolutely nothing around the house until the baby was born. The time off my feet was definitely welcome.
Percy: Hello little guy, it is your daddy speaking.
Berry: laughs And what makes you think it’s a boy?
Percy: I just know. I am sure it will be a boy.
Dewberrie: Thanks for letting me stay for awhile, I should get gong before moms think I ran away. laughs
Berry: Of course Dew, anytime, but before you go… and don’t tell anyone else yet, I want it to be a surprise. But, you’re going to be an auntie!
Dewberrie: What!? Really!? omb! Congrats!
Dewberrie: That was delicious! Did you make it Berry? Also, what the heck was it?
Berry: Actually Percy here made it, he’s an amazing cook. It’s called… actually I don’t know what it’s called.
Percy: Imug itedsql.
Dewberrie: What the heck does that mean?
Berry: Clam Chowder? I believe… Though I imagine it’s not… earth clams.
Percy: No, I had some left over from home.
Berry: Hey kiddo what are you doing here?
Dewberrie: Moms are drowned in wedding plans for themselves, Clemie is at a scout meeting and Elderberry is studying as usual. I was bored.
Berry: Well, you’re always welcome here. We were just about to have lunch, you interested?
Dewberrie: Definitely! Where’s Percy? I still haven’t met him.
Percy: Ah, you are home. Is everything alright?
Berry: More than alright Precy! I’m pregnant!
Percy: Pregnant!? W’g xewzx ne kq u sus!?
I had spent enough time with Percy, and heard enough of his language to basically understand him when he spoke. I wanted to learn more, it would be so cute if I could speak fluently in his language.
Berry: Yes, you are going to be a dad!
Berry: Thanks Clove for the good news.
Dr. Apple Jack: Of course Berry, and don’t forget to check in with the nurse before you leave to schedule some prenatal appointments.
Berry: Will do, thanks again~
Dr. Apple Jack: Well… you’re pregnant Berry.
Berry: gasps I’m… omb!
Dr. Apple Jack: And that is why I said it was up to you. This is a big thing, but if I know you…
Berry: Of course! I’m excited! This is amazing, oh I can’t wait to tell Percy!
Several tests later…
Dr. Apple Jack: Thankfully we didn’t have to run that many.
Berry: That had to be the quickest examination I’ve ever had. laughs
Dr. Apple Jack: But that’s good, we were able to find what’s going on with you with only a few.
Berry: So good news or bad news doc?
Dr. Apple Jack: laughs That sort of depends on you.
Berry: Huh?
Dr. Apple Jack: Well don’t you worry, we’ll get you feeling all better.
Berry: Thanks doctor, I’ve been having a good month, I don’t want to cut it short by getting sick.
Dr. Apple Jack: Understandable, let’s just run a few tests yea?
