Helium Hoth – Berry Sweet Sims & Supernaturals

When the day arrived, I was at school. But mom sent me a text message to tell me it was happening. I was on edge, waiting for the clock to say it was time to go home. But I knew what I was going to come home too, even if Mom and Helium didn’t.

Helium: Oh! Berry I’m glad you’re up… are you eating left over birthday cake from 2 weeks ago, for breakfast?

Berry: …Maybe

Helium: Well… okay. Anyway I wanted to ask you. You know your mom and I have been together for a while now. But have you considered how you would feel if… if your mom decided to have more kids.

Berry: …Well, mom used to tell Apple and I that if our other mother was still alive, she had wanted to have more, so I wouldn’t be shocked… why are you and Mom… considering?

Helium: Actually… it may have already been decided for us.

Berry: You’re pregnant!?

So Helium got a makeover. The reason why is because before I had made her, I asked @salamander-sims to make me a sim to go with Pumpkin for this legacy. But then she had a lot of bad things happen to her, so I felt really bad asking her to just drop everything and make me a sim. So I went ahead and made her myself. But yesterday, my sister ended up making her for me anyway, because she didn’t see that I had already made her. xD So I went ahead and changed Helium to be like the TS2 sim she made for me. So all upcoming legacy pictures will have this new Helium.

Pumpkin: You really think it’s a good idea to force him to have his birthday…

Helium: I do yes. But I don’t think you’re forcing him as much as you think you are. If he really didn’t want to do this, he would have said no. He’s a teenager now after all.

Pumpkin: I suppose your right… well, I better make this cake extra delicious then.

It’s official Apple. Mom and Helium… they’re dating. She’s happy again, I caught her dancing the other day. Mom tried to talk to me about it. She said she’s not giving up on you, but there comes a point where she needs to stop dreading every day and live her life again. I get it I suppose… Heliums not so bad. She was the only one who kept looking for you even though the rest of the police force stopped.

Oh, and our 15th birthday is tomorrow. Mom says I have to celebrate. She said if she’s living her life again, so do I. I’ll blow out our candles for the both of us, okay?

A few months later.

Apple… there hasn’t been any news about you.

Pumpkin: I see… you haven’t found him yet? No… no don’t apologize Helium, I know you’re doing your best… Okay, just, don’t give up okay?

Mama is on a first name basis with the lady who is trying to find you. She’s been hanging around a lot in fact. At first I thought she was just trying to make sure she knew everything there was possibly to know about what happened. She asked me a lot of questions… Like, if I saw anyone hanging around the fountain the day you disappeared. If you said anything else before it happened. She seemed really on top of things.

But now.. she comes over during her time when she’s not working, and mama has been smiling again. I think she is trying to prepare her for if they don’t find you. I know that’s not true Apple. I know you’re coming home…

Pumpkin: I’ll take that as a no…

Helium: I’m not going to lie to you Pumpkin. There’s been almost no evidence of any foul play, whoever is doing this is covering their tracks very well. We have no leads… but they went way too far this time, taking a little boy… I won’t let them get away with this.

Pumpkin: Thank you…

Helium: I’m sorry about your son, I will do everything I can to promise. So please, tell me everything.

Pumpkin: Everything… I don’t know where to start. Apple is the oldest between him and Berry. They’re twins. So he is… a bit more adventurous and outgoing. Berry said Apple was trying to convince him to play in the fountain in the park in the city. I took them there after work, it was too late… I really shouldn’t have.

Helium: No, Mrs. Pie, it’s not your fault. Your son isn’t the first one to go missing around here lately.

Pumpkin: What!? I haven’t heard about disappearances…

Helium: They have been keeping it quiet. I suspect the won’t any longer now that a child has gone missing. It’s normally been all adults. But besides that your son fits with the others… Active, social.

Pumpkin: Have any of the others been found…?

Helium: …
