Pumpkin: You really think it’s a good idea to force him to have his birthday…

Helium: I do yes. But I don’t think you’re forcing him as much as you think you are. If he really didn’t want to do this, he would have said no. He’s a teenager now after all.

Pumpkin: I suppose your right… well, I better make this cake extra delicious then.

Randomly decided to attempt to convert some BG hairs to different ages. Keyword is attempt since they’re far from perfect, but they’re decent. These are all hairs that I haven’t seen converted to the age I did yet. Or they were and the download is just no long available.

These will be uploaded with my colors when it post the recolors of all base game hairs. But let me know if anyone wants them with maxis colors too. (Unlikely xD.)

It’s official Apple. Mom and Helium… they’re dating. She’s happy again, I caught her dancing the other day. Mom tried to talk to me about it. She said she’s not giving up on you, but there comes a point where she needs to stop dreading every day and live her life again. I get it I suppose… Heliums not so bad. She was the only one who kept looking for you even though the rest of the police force stopped.

Oh, and our 15th birthday is tomorrow. Mom says I have to celebrate. She said if she’s living her life again, so do I. I’ll blow out our candles for the both of us, okay?

More time passes…

Berry: Aliens! Maybe Aliens took Apple, like in the movie!

Pumpkin: Oh honey… I don’t think Aliens exist. I know you want to believe that…

Berry: Don’t say it Mom… 

Our birthday is coming up. I’ve been writing every day in this journal so that when you come back, you won’t miss anything. Every year that has passed I told Mom that I don’t want to have another birthday until you come back. It doesn’t feel right. But Helium… I heard them talking. She said after seven years of no news… 

It’s really been that long. We’re going to be 15, that’s a big step Apple, I don’t want to have that birthday without you either. Mom might not believe, but I’m sure aliens took you. How else could they go this long and not find any evidence… you just aren’t on this planet anymore.

A few months later.

Apple… there hasn’t been any news about you.

Pumpkin: I see… you haven’t found him yet? No… no don’t apologize Helium, I know you’re doing your best… Okay, just, don’t give up okay?

Mama is on a first name basis with the lady who is trying to find you. She’s been hanging around a lot in fact. At first I thought she was just trying to make sure she knew everything there was possibly to know about what happened. She asked me a lot of questions… Like, if I saw anyone hanging around the fountain the day you disappeared. If you said anything else before it happened. She seemed really on top of things. 

But now.. she comes over during her time when she’s not working, and mama has been smiling again. I think she is trying to prepare her for if they don’t find you. I know that’s not true Apple. I know you’re coming home…

Pumpkin: I’ll take that as a no…

Helium: I’m not going to lie to you Pumpkin. There’s been almost no evidence of any foul play, whoever is doing this is covering their tracks very well. We have no leads… but they went way too far this time, taking a little boy… I won’t let them get away with this.

Pumpkin: Thank you…

Helium: I’m sorry about your son, I will do everything I can to promise. So please, tell me everything.

Pumpkin: Everything… I don’t know where to start. Apple is the oldest between him and Berry. They’re twins. So he is… a bit more adventurous and outgoing. Berry said Apple was trying to convince him to play in the fountain in the park in the city. I took them there after work, it was too late… I really shouldn’t have.

Helium: No, Mrs. Pie, it’s not your fault. Your son isn’t the first one to go missing around here lately.

Pumpkin: What!? I haven’t heard about disappearances…

Helium: They have been keeping it quiet. I suspect the won’t any longer now that a child has gone missing. It’s normally been all adults. But besides that your son fits with the others… Active, social. 

Pumpkin: Have any of the others been found…?

Helium: …

??? #1: What… What is this!?

??? #2: Well, you said you wanted fresher blood. What’s fresher than a child, right? Though, he put up quite a fight for a hume child.

??? #1: That is because he is not human you Dunderhead. He is a demon, have your senses really become that dull?

??? #2: I… is he? I’m… I’m sorry Merlot sir.

Merlot: sigh, Regardless of your slight… blunder. We have never had a demon among our ranks…

??? #2: You’re thinking of changing him?

Merlot: Not all at once of course. The older he gets, the stronger he will become. We will have to wipe his memory of course… You did well, but do not go against my wishes again.

??? #2: You… aren’t going to kill me sir? 

Merlot: Not yet, besides, we are far too few in number for me to carelessly toss away a resource, no matter how dim witted they are. Leave me. I must begin his change.
