The Rouk

  • Ambassador Karius Barbados
  • Icarus Victorinus
  • Servibius Murion
  • Apmius Faldonis
  • Titan Ignarian

Roukian’s are militaristic, and make up most of the galaxy’s battle forces. They help protect what is left of their own kind and the other species who have fled here. The are intelligent, and good at strategizing, they also have a long belief in what humans would call, mythology. Rouk can be identified by their bent, sharp horns, slender waists, and pale coloring. Like the Hyblu, their eyes glow, but unlike the Hyblu, they are constantly glowing.

The Zysi

  • Aelon Yeban
  • Jaban Zalise

Zysi do not live very long lives. Shorter than humans most of the time. Not a lot of them are left in the galaxy, even the ambassador they had was gone too soon. Leaving them to be lead by the other species. They tend to be very involved with nature, and are always very intelligent. They can be identified by their redish-pink scales, their large black eyes, and the folded tips of their ears.

The Bruark

  • Ambassador Chaash Jalak
  • Chaash Brink
  • Chaash Ter
  • Chaash Gizk
  • Chaash Zrorn

The Bruark are a clan based species. Only a single clan made it to this galaxy, but there was a great number of them. This is due to the large number of children that they can have during reproduction. It is very rare for them to only have one per birth. The Bruark can also be quite brutish, they value strength and never trust those who they believe are weak. They can be identified by their brown scales, four small horns, and earth toned eyes and hair.

The It’osk

  • Ambassador Zelezi D’lana
  • Shi’no T’date
  • Telryus M’priana

The It’osk are musical. Even their language consists of various notes that they sing to communicate. Not many of them made it to this galaxy, but given they live the longest out of all the species that have made it here. They have managed to keep their species going. They can be identified by their large bat like ears, and blue skin. When angry their normally colorful eyes, turn pure black.

The Hyblu

  • Ambassador Xilvfa De Teriaf
  • Qaal De So
  • Ivfras Nevfar Anak
  • Xaj De So
  • Tivre Sama Dan

The Hyblu are family oriented species. They all come from big families and desire to expand as much as possible. They were the first to come to this galaxy. They live rather long lives, and usually are very emotional in how they handle things. They can be identified by their purple skin, large horns, and eyes that glow at night.

And even though it was a shock, Julian was right… I did come here to do something big. To make my mark in another galaxy and do something no one has done before. The Milky Way… everything had been done. But here… Humans could start over. And with a little help, all the species could prosper. This was our home now, and if we all needed someone to step up and help build this place… I would be more than willing.

Landon: Wow… I mean, this is so surprising. No one else wanted? I mean… yea, I’ll do it.

That’s how my crazy adventure in this new place began… but there is so much more for you to see.

The next morning during breakfast, Julian came to talk to me. He had just returned from another meeting with the species of this galaxy. He started off by telling me that I seemed to handle the news about the milky way a lot better than the other volunteers. Which was surprising, giving that I was still upset by it. But what was more surprising, was what he told me next…

Julian: They agreed to let us colonize the planet. We decided to call it Terra. It’ll help us remember Earth, but still start fresh.

Landon: That’s great! Though I feel there’s a but coming…

Julian: Unfortunately you’re correct. That’s why I’m coming to speak to you personally. They agreed under one condition. These 5 species that occupy this galaxy, are refugees from their own, just like us now… For a few years they’ve been trying to… well, to mate with each other to expand their numbers. However there has been no success. The Zysi have studied our physiology, and they deduced that we hold the best chance of helping them repopulate. And since we need to as well…

Landon: Wait… ignoring all that science stuff that I can barely follow, are you saying they want us… to have their children? And then why… I get it, you want me to do it.

Julian: Yes, none of the other volunteers wanted to do this… a few, including myself would be willing to… well father children, but not carry them. I was hoping you would be willing, you came here because you thought there was something you needed to do right? Something big? Maybe this is it.

They assigned us rooms and sent us to them, probably so we could process everything they told us. But how do you process something like this? Realizing you are one of the only humans left in existence… it’s a lot to take in. I did say I didn’t leave anyone behind when I left to come to this new galaxy. But still. All those people… I knew I wouldn’t see those people, but I had thought earth would just be full of new ones and would thrive, but now…

Over the next few days they kept us informed, according to them the planet we were floating above was uninhabited, and had oxygen. But there was life in this galaxy. I had expected that, I mean, we can’t be the only beings to exist. Those aliens… though I guess we were the aliens now, had an ambassador from each species, that basically oversee the whole galaxy. The scientists who ran this program were trying to get permission to settle the world. One of the species seemed to be for it. They knew what it was like to lose their home, their people. But it was being a rather difficult situation trying to convince the rest. But we couldn’t float in space forever… we needed solid ground.

When we all woke up and entered the main office, they explained what was wrong. When they woke up to start building. The were supposed to check back home. Make contact with people in the milky way. It was planned from the start. Even if the people there would be different people, they assured their ancestors would be there when we contacted them.

They were there… but it was bad. War had broken out all over the world by that point. There was hardly anyone left, every country bombed each other, wiping out millions each time one hit. And the few that remained… earth was unlivable, and they didn’t last long. We came all this way to try and see if life in other galaxies could be possible but now… now we were the last ones in humanity. A dozen volunteers and the science staff. There was also Speckles… if you counted my cat that is. We were the only humans left in existance, without a clue about the world we now lived in.

This here… it had to succeed, or else, our species would be extinct.

All I had to do was go to sleep, I’d wake up centuries later in this new amazing galaxy. There was only about a dozen of us going into cryo. They told us we’d be monitored regularly, as several technicians would wake up for their own cryo sleep to make sure everyone was okay. I wasn’t scared. Sure I was a little worried how they were going to put my cat into cryo with me, but I had a feeling it would all work out.

Only, none of us volunteers expected the sort of shock we’d get once we were there. When we were all being brief, they told us a handful of people would be going ahead of us, they’d arrive at least a few decades in advance in order to settle a world, build a place for us to live as we navigated our new lives there. That was all great, but when we walked into facility… their faces were grim.

The first thing I noticed, was what I saw when I looked out the window. We definitely weren’t on some beautiful planet. We were in some big fortress they built in space. I thought that was why they looked so upset. Maybe settling a world didn’t go so well, but everyone who came here with me was about to get one help of a wake up after sleeping for centuries.
