Travel Coordinator: “Sir, you know what this entails right? You’ll be leaving everyone you know behind, going to sleep for centuries. Waking up somewhere completely new, and everyone you knew will be gone.”
They seemed shocked by my decision, as if they really didn’t expect anyone to want this. Which was kinda funny, considering they had asked for volunteers. But it was understandable, I had some of my crazy ideas shot down for years.
Landon: “I’m 100% sure this is what I want to do!”
I didn’t have any family. But that’s a whole ‘nother story. All I had was my cat, and they said I could bring him with me. I wanted to start over, see new worlds. Do things no one else was doing. I knew I’d be doing everything they were warning me about, and I loved it!
